In 2011 March equinox occurs tonight

March equinox will occur tonight, on March 20 in 2011. From an astronomical viewpoint, that's when spring begins in the northern hemisphere  ; autumn also begins, but in the southern hemisphere. On this date, March equinox will occur at 11:21 pm at Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
